I never tire of a good knitted pouf and these fruit and veggie knitted poufs by Anne-Claire Petit have such personality! They’re organic, too. Isn’t that clever? I like the apple the best. Second place goes to the lemon only because it might not be easily recognizable for what it is if it’s sitting there by itself. Any of these would look super cute in an eclectic style kid’s room.

Available here.

CB2 Miami

cb2 miami

We stopped by the CB2 store in Miami last week. Fun, fun! I wish they had more locations. It’s nice to be able to see an item in person before buying it. For example, I posted here about knitted poufs and mentioned the one from CB2. From the images online and in the catalog, I didn’t think that it looked like very good quality, but after seeing them in person I may have had a change of heart. The knitting is thicker and a little nicer than I expected. I’m not saying they are on the same level as the Urchin Poufs or anything, but for $75 they make a unique, multifunctional piece of furniture that will bring a little color and texture to your room. Not too shabby. Also, they’re now available in gray and orange. I think the green may be discontinued, but they still have them in the stores.

Knitted Poufs

02.22.10

Ferm Living has a lot of cute stuff in their new spring line. I’m really excited about these colorful poufs! Starting at $94, they’re definitely more affordable than the Flocks knitted poufs from Christien Meindertsm (which I love and really, really want!):

Aren’t they gorgeous? But at $800 a pop for a medium they’re outrageously overpriced! Yowza!

CB2 also has a knitted pouf available for $79.00. It’s received good reviews, but I’m not sure how well it would hold up in the long run. (Bean bag filling always crushes down.) It’s also only offered in one color and one size. I prefer a little variety. The Flocks Pouf is definitely my favorite so I guess I’ll be saving my pennies and scouting around for a deal.
