I saw this modern kid’s room on Poppytalk yesterday. Now I’m normally not into themes, but WOW! This room is so great!
The circus themed kid’s room was designed by Kate Dixon, a photo stylist from Kansas City. Dixon did an amazing job. Everything from the weathered crate furniture, the ferris wheel toy storage, the vintage style pillows and the patchwork rug are spot on. I love it!

I spotted this dining room on Desire to Inspire last week. Isn’t the wall mural fantastic? It totally makes the room!
Okay, I’m done with winter! I can’t take it anymore! My toes are numb, I’m constantly wrapped up in blankets, and I’ve been drinking hot chamomile tea by the gallon. I’m ready for a little warmth. These sweet little lemon candles posted on Mus might be just the pick me up I need to make it through the next few weeks of cold weather before it finally starts warming up for spring. I bet they smell delicious.

Our Modernica Rocker is here! Yay!! This was our grand prize for Kenzie’s photo. (Thanks again to everyone who voted!) Since we’re about to move everything’s going to storage, but we were way too excited to not take a look. So here’s a sneak peek at our cool new modern chair!
I ended up choosing celery. It was my “safe” choice. The color I really wanted was grass green. I love bright pops of color! Sadly though, I was out voted. I believe my mom’s words were “Eww! It looks like a crayon!” Celery was Brad’s favorite and he’s right – it goes with most of our decor (specifically nursery) and I could switch it from room to room after the nursery days are behind us.
Here’s the Kenzmeister chillaxing by her new modern chair! She tried to get in it before she realized the top wasn’t attached to the base.
